How it gets made
Nothing moves forward until you have approved what came before it. Here is exactly what happens between your first email and a crate arriving at your door.
Days 1–4
You send references, a scale and a deadline. We come back with a written plan covering the sculpt approach, materials, finish level and shipping — plus a fixed quote that does not move unless you change the brief.
Weeks 1–3
The piece is sculpted or kitbashed digitally and shown to you as turntable renders. Revisions happen here, where they are cheap — you sign off on the exact geometry before anything is printed.
Weeks 3–5
Resin printed at 25-micron layers, then the unglamorous part: washing, curing, supports removed by hand, seams sanded, parts pinned in brass and primed. This is where a printed model stops looking printed.
Weeks 5–11
Airbrushed base coats, oil rendering, dry pigments and any specialty work — leaf, lighting, water effects. Then a matched sealer, a full photo set for you, and custom-cut foam crating with insured tracked shipping.

Yes. If you have a print-ready file we can quote print-and-paint only, which usually removes three to four weeks from the schedule. If the file needs repair or re-sectioning, we will tell you before quoting.
We build one-off pieces for personal display, which is where fan builds sit. We do not produce runs of licensed characters for resale, and we will say so up front if a request crosses that line.
Tabletop-scale work starts around $180 per model. Display busts typically land between $900 and $2,400. Full figures and lit dioramas run from $2,500 upward depending on scale, part count and finish level.
That is what the sign-off gates are for — you approve the sculpt before printing and see progress photos through paint. If something at the end is genuinely not what was agreed, we fix it at our cost.
Each piece is crated in custom-cut foam with the fragile elements packed separately and keyed for assembly on arrival. Shipping is insured and tracked. In eleven years we have had two transit losses, both replaced.
Sometimes. A rush slot carries a 35% surcharge and depends entirely on what is already on the bench. Ask — the worst answer is no.
Commissions
We take on a limited number of commissions each month so every piece gets the bench time it needs. Send a reference, a scale and a deadline — you will hear back within two working days.
